• Do you know the signs of abuse and neglect?
• Do you maintain an attitude of ‘it could happen here’?

If you answered NO to any of these questions, please see Mrs Stuart (Safeguarding Lead)

If a child discloses any information of maltreatment, neglect or abuse, inform Mrs Hankinson or Mrs Stuart immediately, who will then call Social Services ‘Assessment and Referral’.
All staff are free to call ‘Assessment and Referral’ themselves should they have any concerns about a child.

Safer Recruitment

Staff and Governors have up to date training in Safer Recruitment and all procedures are in place for safer recruitment in school. All staff have the required DBS checks in line with policy.
