The children had an amazing time at Haigh Hall. Some of them were really frightened on the high ropes but persevered and achieved their goal.
I am so proud of the children for coming first in the Spelling Bee at Newton West Park but also for their impeccable behaviour – fantastic role-models for St Paul’s.
Well done Year 2 on your fabulous performance!
Here are some pictures of our learning so far in Year 2.
13.2.18 – Hi everyone
Almost half term and we are pleased to be ending our Great Fire of London topic with a family assembly on Friday. Here are some pictures of us preparing a classroom display.
Next half term our topic is ‘Did dragons really exist’. We will also be learning about and preparing for Easter and Mother’s Day by making gifts and cards!
Some of the children will be attending maths club next half term.
12/2/18 – “The bad weather doesn’t stop Year 2 from enjoying outdoor reading sessions…especially when we have hot chocolate!”
Y2 are learning all about the Great Fire of London and the plague.
Our class reading books are Toby and the Great Fire of London and Orion and the Dark (which is all about a little boy who learns that the dark is not as scary as he thinks!)
Some children are attending Computing Club and some are attending Maths Club this half term.
The Children are famous!!! we are in the Manchester Diocese Magazine.
