We had an amazing day at Bolton Museum. Our workshop in the morning was all about the Egyptians: we did a human timeline, looked at artefacts, dressed up, learned about the different Egyptian Gods, how they mummified bodies and about their traditions. We also went into a real tomb and saw a man who had been mummified thousands of years ago. In the afternoon we had chance to look at all the other fabulous things inside the museum. The children were really well enthusiastic and well behaved and we are extremely proud of them.
After a fantastic Anti-Bullying assembly this morning, the children took part in a workshop. They talked about the different kinds of bullying. They then worked in character, doing freeze frames, to help them understand what it would be like to be a bully or be bullied.
