In the session there is improved team work, problem solving, listening and adhering to rules.

However the above is not true of all children as some children still struggle.

The teacher gained ideas for games and problem solving activities and worked well with the premier sport coach.

 Unfortunately not many children attended. December fencing competition cancelled, still waiting for new date to be arranged.

Children become familiar with the pool, the instructors and the routine in preparation for formal swimming lessons in year 3.
Playground equipment ready for new academic year (£200 per key stage) £400  Encouraging children to be more active at playtimes. Various equipment purchased to encourage team work and building friendships.
Just Join In day (SEND) £20 Mini bus  Children with learning and behaviour issues attended a full day of activities at the sports village.

Year 3 School trip to the Anderton Centre for OAA. School paid for the trip £350  OAA off site. Children experience activities that we cannot offer in school. Children gain confidence.
Healthy Lifestyles Year 4 £30 per session x 6 £180  Fitness for Y4 children, tracked at the beginning and the end. Improved health/fitness knowledge and booklets completed.

 Children have more knowledge about health and being active.
Premier Sports to deliver one off lesson to each class in preparation for Sports Day £107.10  Children know the plan for sports day.
Year 5/6 OAA Residential June 2018 School to subsidise £20 per pupil

 Children experience time away from home increase participation in OAA in another setting including water tasks. All activities delivered by trained professionals.

Children attempted new activities such as wall climbing, shelter building and raft building.

Children developed their independent skills.

Children had opportunities to move out of their comfort zone safely and children developing a more sense of responsibility for others in their team.

 Military School Week Starting Monday 2nd July (excluding Reception) £1000  All children active and focusing on problem solving and team building within their class group.   No competitions

For September to October 2018 (Next sport grant payment) there is £3328 remaining.
